The Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers
|
Alaska Backcountry ATV Adventure Tour - Not a tour that the two RV Gypsies would recommend unless you are a very experienced ATV rider only because the guides were negligent in their duties and Karen Duquette had a serious accident, and they tried to make her pay full price for the ATV. The ATV would not have been damaged if the guides had done their duty properly. After all, there was a "guide fee" in the price of this tour. However, the day started out wonderful and everyone was happy and excited. Only about two minutes of instructions were given to everyone.(NOTE: This was the 3rd time the two RV Gypsies took this SAME trip
but the other two times were with a different guide who was absolutely
wonderful). Plus, even before these three ATV trips, Karen Duquette
had been on other ATV's with no problems. The other trips can be found
by using the TOC button at the bottom of most sections and choosing
the letter A and scrolling down to ATV
Adventures.) |

Lee and Renee Duquette rode in a double ATV and were at the back of the line. Renee took most of the pictures since she was not driving. So there were not a lot of photos of Lee or Renee taken. But Renee does not like her photo taken anyway, even though she is very beautiful. This was very tough back-country and rough riding conditions. Renee enjoyed it more than anyone since she was not driving. The two RV Gypsies only recommend this trip to experienced ATV riders with DIFFERENT guides. Renee said that several times Karen and Ilse were on three wheels only, and that sure was not intentional. |
